It's been way to long...

OMG, it feels like months since i last posted something. My picture of the day project...what can i say, for the last month or so, i haven't really felt that inspired. So there will be a lot of blank post if I am going to follow through with it. I actually think that it will be as much of a challenge for me not to. I am the kind of person who hate blank spaces in a collection, I have to have it all...
Right now I dont know, what i want to do, I am not going to force my self to post bad pictures (which has happened), just so i can post something. I must be better with just one great photo than five bad ones.

What have i been up to:

I have started school again.
I been on a day-long wedding photoshoot ( A nice couple - Ulrikke and Søren)

Yesterday we had some friends over for dinner
And today i am going to Scrap-a-mania right here in my home town. Its a big gathering of scrappers and scrapbooking supplies sellers. I haven't been to Scrap-a-mania before, but i hope to get som great inspiration and to meet my E-mail friend Annika!
Tonight we are going to dinner at some friends house.

I allmost forgot to to tell you about the greatest thing, i finally got a desk in the living room and my sweet boyfriend made it for me out of an old dinner table, it looks beautiful and perfect for our living room. Going to take som pictures soon for you to see.
A new pic of Benjamin

That must be it for now. Will be back soon with some new pix and maybe more from Egypt!

The streets of Luxor

The photo of the day is actually a serie of pictures taken mostly from a horse carriage. We felt a bit like intruders when he drove us through the local market and the people there had to move their items away from the street. Egypt is a colourfull place but also very dirty and poor.

I'm sorry to say that this is actually not my picture, Brian took this one. I was back at the hotel keeping close to the toilet....

Benjamin got his penguin camera, and he very quickly found out how it worked, we are still waiting for the prints.
The photo is taken in Sharm el Sheikh Airport.

Home sweet home

We returned to Denmark thursday evening. Tired, but happy to be home. My sweet mother had filled the fridge with all sort of great stuff: milk, butter, jam, rugbrød (very dark bread- which i think is only eaten in Denmark and Germany - not even our swedish friend Anna likes it, but my oh my, we love it, especially after a vacation abroad), leverpostej(another danish food - it is made from - hold on- the liver from a pic, sardins, different herbs, onions, flour and more which i can't remember. It sounds disgusting, and i think if children actually new what was in it they would not eat it, but we all just love it (allmost all of us) - i guess that "liverpaté" is to be found in other countrys as well, but i don't think that anybody in the world eat the amount of the stuff that we, the danes, do.) Oh well, i will stop the food talk now, though it was nice to sit in our own sofa eating rugbrød with leverpostej.

We had a great trip, though i am not sure i will ever return to Egypt. I would love to see more of their ancient relics, but i kind of got enough of the egyptians. More about that later.

Soon i will post som photos from our vacation.

Just happy to be back online...

Tomorrow is the day...

Now we are all packed and ready to hop on the plain to Egypt. Just have to catch  a few hours of sleep first. Better set the alarm clock at 4.30 (oh my, that's early...). Have to leave for the airport at 5.50. My mission at the airport is to find af kiddy-camera shaped like a penguin. (maybe it will look like this...?)
Hoping for a hotspot at our hotel, if so, i will try to post som more, the following weeks...
